Alexa Parker - Practice owner, clinical supervisor, and licensed professional counselor
At the heart of this practice is a deep commitment to helping people heal, grow, and thrive. I started Empower Her Counseling with one goal: to provide a safe, supportive space where individuals and families feel truly seen, heard, and empowered. Whether navigating life's challenges, working through past wounds, or simply seeking personal growth, we are here to help guide you through the process with compassion, authenticity, and care.
This practice was built on the belief that meaningful change happens in connection, and I’m honored to be part of that journey.

Tracey Parker - billing specialist
My goal is to bring a deep understanding of working with insurance companies, managing claims, and helping clients navigate the often-confusing world of healthcare billing.
I’m committed to making the billing process as simple and stress-free as possible. Whether you have questions about your benefits, need help understanding a statement, or are working through deductibles and co-pays, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
I’m known for being detail-oriented, patient, and approachable, and I take pride in helping the practice run smoothly so you can focus on your care, not the paperwork.
Feel free to reach out to me by phone or email with any billing-related questions. I’m always happy to help!

Catherine Spence, LAC
I support individuals, families, through life’s challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, EMDR.
I believe healing happens when people feel truly heard and supported. In sessions, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, build coping skills, and move toward the life they want to create.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and eating disorders, as well as families navigating communication and trust. My goal is to meet each client where they are and help them take meaningful steps toward growth and recovery.
Outside of therapy, I value creativity, learning, and connection, which inspire my work every day.

Nyssa Spahr, LAC
Hi, I’m Nyssa! I specialize in supporting children and teens as they navigate life’s challenges. I understand that as a parent, you want your child to feel safe, understood, and equipped with tools to thrive and that’s exactly what I strive to provide.
I work with people on a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, impulse control, trauma, communication, and healthy boundaries. Using evidence-based approaches, I provide practical strategies they can use now and in the future.
Even if you have tried therapy before and it didn’t seem like the right fit, I bring a fresh perspective by weaving in their interests, whether that’s anime, books, movies, TV shows, or music—so sessions feel engaging and relatable.
My goal is to partner with you in creating a supportive environment where you feel empowered to grow, build resilience, and develop lifelong coping skills.
Available in-person and virtual, Mon - Fri 10 am - 7 pm

Tierra Robinson
My role as a counselor is to walk alongside clients as a collaborative partner, fostering self-awareness, developing coping skills, and nurturing their strengths. I ground my practice in evidence-based approaches while tailoring interventions to the unique needs, cultures, and identities of each person I serve.
I view counseling as both a preventative and restorative process by helping individuals navigate current challenges, while also equipping them with tools for long-term success and well-being. At the heart of my philosophy is respect for each client’s lived experience, a belief in the power of relationships, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and compassionate space where growth can flourish.
My skills extend to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges including but not limited to symptoms of anxiety, depression, bi-polar, eating disorders, PTSD from resolved/unresolved trauma, and grief. Let’s connect and continue/begin the work toward achieving your goals and get you to living the life you deserve!
